All in all this is fun state forest that has something for just about everyone. The main overlook at Coopers Rock is a very easy flat, maybe 150 yard walk from the parking lot. Coopers Rock itself… Full review by codyk371

You could see a lot in a couple of hours. When I was there in February the overlook road was closed so there may be some seasonal closure. You could still hike the 3 miles to the overlook. We hiked the Henry Clay Furnace Trail. Have fun exploring
