Best Visitor Center I’ve ever seen and one of the worst campgrounds. I assume the high rating is for day visits and not for overnight camping. The camp sites are weedy with little to no gravel, mos… Full review by James T

There is a long dirt road that goes up to the field. I suggest that you drive there on a day that is dry and sunny. The field is near the parking lot. We walked on a few boulders, and then sat on them, basking in the sunshine. Make sure you have study sneakers. Also proceed with caution since it is possible to slip and get your foot or leg jammed between boulders. I found the place to be a unique experience and would like to visit again.

Short answer is no. I have grandchildren ages 7 and 8 and I would wait until they are closer to 10 before taking them along the Glen falls trails. Instead, I would recommend parking at PA 118 and hiking up Kitchen Creek trail. They could see three falls that way. Trail is about 1.5 miles to the Meeting Place of the two falls trails.
