BANYUWANGI, E Java – Thirty individuals aboard the ill-fated Tunu Pratama Jaya ferry have been confirmed safe as of Friday evening, while 29 others remain missing following the vessel’s capsizing off the coast of Bali on Wednesday night.

Indonesian rescuers were searching for 29 people who remained missing Thursday after a ferry sank and six people died the previous night near Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.

An Indonesian ferry carrying at least 65 passengers sank in the Bali Strait on Wednesday night, leaving at least five people dead and more than 30 missing, according to local reports and Indonesia’s National Search and Rescue Agency,
