NYC Mayor Eric Adams' former top adviser Ingrid Lewis-Martin indicted on new bribery charges
Ingrid Lewis-Martin, a longtime adviser to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, is facing more federal charges in four separate indictments, the Manhattan District Attorney's office announced Thursday. Lewis-Martin is now charged with four counts of conspiracy in the fourth degree and four counts of bribe receiving in the second degree.

Martin's lawyer, Arthur Aidala, said the Manhattan District Attorney's Office declined to provide details about the new charges.
Lewis-Martin resigned from City Hall in December before being indicted on separate corruption charges to which she pleaded not guilty. Adams, who is facing long odds as he runs for reelection as an independent, was not accused of wrongdoing in any of the cases.
Martin, who was charged with her son in December 2024 with accepting more than $100,000, is expected to appear in court on Thursday morning for an arraignment on the new charges.
