Google , with Kairos Power, has selected Tennessee as the site of an advanced nuclear power plant that is expected to supply electricity to the Big Tech company's data centers in the U.S. southeast starting in 2030,

Energy from Kairos' advanced nuclear reactors could be flowing by 2030 as AI becomes hungrier and hungrier for electricity.

The three-way agreement between the Tennessee Valley Authority, the nuclear firm Kairos, and Google will provide power to data centers in the state and Alabama.
