The Green Bay Packers are wrapping up their preseason with a home contest against the Seattle Seahawks, which will seem them head into the 2025 NFL season on a high note, winning 20-7 at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur shared his thoughts on the connection between Jordan Love and Matthew Golden.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who underwent surgery to repair a ligament injury in his left thumb on <a href=" 12, told broadcaster Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show that he'll be good to play his team's regular season opener against the Detroit Lions.

Coach Matt LaFleur said the Packers are hopeful that Love (thumb) will be able to take snaps when the team reconvenes for practice Tuesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Love had surgery on Aug. 12 to address a ligament injury in his left thumb and was able to practice on a limited basis as of this past Monday.

Love enters the 2025 season with huge expectations and a lot of questions. He was expected to have a breakout season in 2024, but a knee injury in Week 1 that knocked him out for two games derailed those plans. After the injury, he was never able to get back into a good rhythm.
