Denzel Washington experienced an awkward encounter with King Charles III during the London premiere of "Gladiator II."

His seemingly unbothered attitude with regard to the British monarch didn't impact their later meeting. After his arrival, inside the theater, King Charles met the cast of Gladiator II, including Washington. "I didn’t know if I was supposed to grab your hand or not," the actor told the King as they met.

A 'handsome' King Charles delighted fans as he wore a black suit paired with a black bowtie as he walked the red carpet for the Gladiator 2 premiere.
