Philadelphia 76ers stars Tyrese Maxey and Paul George comment on the struggles of Joel Embiid after a loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

Paul George provided a hilariously blunt response when asked about Joel Embiid’s ongoing injury struggles, offering just two words:  "Drugs helped." While the comment initially raised eyebrows, it became clear that George was referring to prescribed medication and treatment rather than anything more controversial.

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George is no stranger to major injuries. In 2014, he suffered a gruesome leg injury during a preseason Team USA scrimmage game. While he missed nearly the entire season after breaking his right leg and having to undergo surgery, George was still able to suit up that season, albeit in the final six games of the campaign.
