Paige Bueckers nearly recorded a double-double in the Dallas Wings' 90-81 loss to Kate Martin and the Golden State Valkyries on Sunday, as the Wings extended their losing streak to five games.

Despite suiting up just eight players, the Valkyries snapped their three-game losing streak with a 90-81 road win over the Dallas Wings. Golden State thoroughly shut down rookie sensation Paige Bueckers, holding the former UConn superstar to nine points on 3-of-12 shooting from the field.

The big swing skill on offense is her spot-up three-point shooting. James was better on pull-ups than catch-and-shoot attempts in college, and she’s struggled with spot-ups as a pro. To be an effective spacer and open up her tremendous off-the-bounce game, James needs to be able to knock down open threes.
