The 19-year-old poured in a game-high 28 points on 13 of 27 shooting, hauled in 10 rebounds, dished out four assists, made two blocks and had just two turnovers. While Edgecombe struggled from beyond the arc (1 of 7) and from the charity stripe (1 of 3), it won't take away from the fact that his Summer League debut was a resounding success.

The Philadelphia 76ers began summer league on Saturday night when they took on the Utah Jazz in the Salt Lake City version. It was the first of three games the Sixers will play in Utah before heading out to Las Vegas on July 10.

VJ Edgecombe finished with an impressive double-double in his debut in the Salt Lake City Summer League, leading the 76ers in a loss to the Jazz.
