National tension over immigration enforcement and the killing of a protester in Minneapolis boiled over in an Arizona Senate committee hearing.

During a hearing about a border wall bill, GOP state Sen. Janae Shamp asked a civilian speaker a graphic question about rape.

Senate Bill 1055 would require local law enforcement to report arrested individuals to ICE if it is believed they are in the country illegally.

"AHCCCS is not equipped to safely and effectively serve as an operational health plan for the American Indian Health Plan," said a Republican state lawmaker who made a big proposal.
