It's been a wacky NFL season -- in a good way. This is actually the first time in NFL history there are five divisions with a lead of less than one game this late in a season! The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers lead the way at 6-6 in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals lurking,
Week 14 will also mark the league's final round of bye weeks, the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers all hitting their midseason breaks. After a rough showing on Thanksgiving, here's how USA TODAY Sports' panel of NFL experts views this weekend's offering of contests:

The pick: Commanders +1.5 The Rams were probably the one team I trusted in the NFL. Then, they went and lost to the Carolina Panthers as double-digit favorites. That was a weird game, as Matthew Stafford came out too aggressive, the Rams lost the turnover battle, 3-0, and the defense couldn't stop the Panthers on third and fourth downs.
Entering the final stretch of the 2025 season, we can see a clear gap between contenders and pretenders, though underdogs are still covering at a fairly high rate.
