The No. 16 USC Trojans will play in the Alamo Bowl for the first time against a Big 12 opponent after finishing the regular season with a 9-3 record. The Trojans are reportedly set to face the TCU Horned Frogs in the Alamo Bowl.

The Big 12 has fined Iowa State and Kansas State $500,000 each for opting out of bowl games. The conference announced the fines Sunday in a statement declaring that coaching change is not a viable reason for not fulfilling bowl obligations.
