The LSU women’s basketball team faced its first test of the season Thursday when it spotted Duke an early 14-point lead in Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.
Duke isn't ranked, but earning a win road vs. a top-40ish squad looks good on an NCAA Tournament resume. Wins like this impact the margins when its time to decide who gets a No. 1 seed and who will be on the three and four line.
