Apple has announced an interesting 3D AI model called Matrix3D that is able to reconstruct 3D objects and scenes from just a few 2D photos.

Microsoft has unveiled Copilot 3D, an innovative AI-powered feature that empowers users to convert 2D images into fully rendered 3D models, no modeling experience required.

Those photographs are then used in a process called photogrammetry to generate a 3D model from the source images.
