IRGC hits US Fifth Fleet HQ in Bahrain — direct US base attack
In the most direct attack on a US military command center since the Iran war began, Iran's IRGC struck the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain on June 3, simultaneously with drone and missile attacks on Kuwait International Airport.
With peace talks stalled, the U.S. and Iran traded strikes in one of the most intense bouts since the increasingly tenuous ceasefire between the two countries began in April.

Washington and Tehran are attacking each other despite a ceasefire that came into effect on April 8.
The meeting came a day after an Iranian strike on Kuwait International Airport killed one person and wounded more than 60 others.
The IRGC said its Aerospace Force launched "precise and concentrated missile attacks" on US military facilities in Kuwait.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it acted in response to U.S. strikes on an Iranian vessel.
