New Devils general manager Sunny Mehta made his first big move Tuesday, trading defenseman Simon Nemec and forward Maxim Tsyplakov to the Calgary Flames in exchange for two conditional first-round picks, a second-round pick (35th overall selection in the 2026 NHL Draft), and defenseman Etienne Morin.
The New Jersey Devils’ 2026-27 pre-season schedule will feature four games, with two games played at Prudential Center and two road matches. The club will play the New York Islanders and New York Rangers twice each.
