The Met Office have issued new weather warnings for ice across the UK in the aftermath of Storm Chandra. The yellow warning comes into force at midnight tonight and runs until 10am until tomorrow morning.

A raft of severe weather warnings is in place across Scotland, including an amber alert for snow and forecasts of up to 30cm in some areas.
The warnings come as Storm Chandra blows into the UK from the west, bringing travel disruption and a risk of flooding with heavy rain predicted. Forecasters have warned that flooding in some areas is likely were likely with significant snow across higher ground in some parts of Scotland.
