The Tennessee State Fair kicked off Aug. 13 in Wilson County, bringing hundreds of visitors to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Lebanon for its annual celebration of agriculture, entertainment and family-friendly fun.
All guests will walk through metal detectors, and bags may be inspected. The fair recommends clear bags no larger than 12-by-6-by-12 inches, one-gallon clear plastic bags or small clutch bags no larger than 4.5-by-6.5 inches. Weapons are prohibited.
