Seeing his first game action of the preseason, second-year quarterback Caleb Williams led the Chicago Bears 92 yards for a touchdown on the opening possession at Soldier Field.
Trailing 20-3 near the end of the first half, Williams and the offense orchestrated a seven-play, 78-yard scoring drive, delivering big throws downfield. Williams found Olamide Zaccheaus for a 25-yard completion in the middle of the field and nearly connected with Rome Odunze on a deep jump ball that would have put the Bears in prime scoring position.
