The NFL has increased security at its offices following a shooting last month at a Manhattan building by a gunman authorities say was targeting league headquarters.

Police said that the victim of the shooting walked into the shopping center seeking help after she was shot moments earlier.

A jury has convicted a man in the fatal shooting of a 62-year-old. Jimmy Mercedes, 41, of Paterson, was found guilty of murder and several weapons offenses following two days of jury deliberations, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
