Kraft says that solving the Rubik's Cube is a lot like playing chess. With the help of a little strategy and maybe a mathematical algorithm or two, anyone can learn to do it, she thinks.

But, you can look at it this way: just as there are over 43 quintillion ways to solve a Rubik’s Cube, there are different paths through life.

“In order to solve the Rubik’s Cube using reinforcement learning, the algorithm will learn a policy,” write the researchers in their study.
