Deputies say Lawrence Meinert was last seen Monday night in Mineola and may be driving a gray 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.

Minutes later, the Mustang hit a Toyota Tacoma that was turning left onto Turtle Run Road, according to police.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for 72-year-old Lawrence Meinert. Authorities said he was last seen late Monday night at the 280 block of County Road 2798 in Mineola.
