Judge Frank Caprio, a former judge for the Providence Municipal Court, died following a bout with pancreatic cancer, according to a statement posted to social media.
Viola Davis, award-winning actress who grew up in Central Falls, posted on Instagram mourning Judge Frank Caprio, who died Aug. 20 at the age of 88. "Rest in peace to my fellow Rhode Islander and a man of tremendous character," Davis said of the Providence-born judge.
Judge Frank Caprio has taken his final breathe, as confirmed by his son, Frank T. Caprio. Per reports, he had a brief battle with cancer.
