NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Powerball jackpot has leaped, again, to an estimated $700 million for the next drawing on Saturday night. No one hit the winning numbers on Wednesday, again.

The Powerball jackpot rose to $650 million for the Wednesday, Aug. 20, drawing after no one won the top prize on Monday, Aug. 18.

The jackpot may be advertised at an estimated $643 million, but you’ll take home far less if you’re lucky enough to win.

The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $216 million for the drawing on Tuesday, Aug. 19, after no one matched all the winning numbers in the drawing on Friday, Aug. 15. If someone matches all six numbers, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $97.0 million.
