A federal judge has halted further expansion of the immigration detention center known as "Alligator Alcatraz" in the Florida Everglades.

A judge from the Southern District of Florida has given state officials 60 days to dismatle a mass migrant detention and deportation facility touted by the Trump administration and nicknamed 'Alligato

Within 60 days, the facility must also remove “all generators, gas, sewage, and other waste and waste receptacles,” which calls into question how it would operate.
