Florida officials have once again painted over the rainbow crosswalk near the Pulse nightclub site. Protesters added the rainbow design after Florida officials had recently repainted the crosswalk. The crosswalk honored the 49 lives lost in the 2016 nightclub shooting.

Painted over, colored in, and painted over again, what until recently was an approved and undisturbed rainbow crosswalk outside of the former Pulse Nightclub is now black, white, and apparently under supervision.

More rainbow crosswalks in Florida in are under threat despite the widespread outrage that followed the recent removal of the memorial to the 49 people murdered in the Pulse nightclub attack in 2016.
