Lemon was arrested by U.S. agents days after covering an anti-ICE protest at a St. Paul, Minn., church. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi called the protest a "coordinated attack."
Most of the arrests occurred in downtown Los Angeles amid reports of escalating violence, including an alleged assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer. One person was arrested for a curfew violation, and six others were taken into custody for failure to disperse, according to ABC7 Eyewitness News.
The announcement followed earlier federal actions stemming from the January 18 disruption at Cities Church.
