Kristin Cabot has resigned from her role as chief people officer at Astronomer, a week after a video of her cuddling up with CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert went viral on social media.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who was married to Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin for 13 years, announced Friday on X that she was hired by Astronomer as a "very temporary" spokesperson.

Paltrow adds, with more than a hint of irony, that Astronomer has “gotten a lot of questions over the last few days” and that she has been enlisted to “answer the most common ones.”
