Netflix is queuing up what could be one of its most interesting hits yet, bringing together one of the hottest actors in the game with a director who's on a real streak – and it looks genuinely ravishing.

In the series created by Lauren LeFranc, Colin Farrell reprises his role from Reeves’ film as the title villain, a disfigured kingpin named Oswald Cobb who’s working his way through Gotham’s sordid criminal underbelly.

Fala Chen and Tilda Swinton also star in the feature that premieres at TIFF and adapts Lawrence Osborne's 2014 novel.
