DETROIT -- The battle of aces is Tuesday night at Comerica Park. The Detroit Tigers (74-53) and Houston Astros (69-56) play at 6:40 p.m. at Comerica Park. Tigers ace lefty Tarik Skubal (11-3, 2.42 ERA) will face right-hander Hunter Brown (10-5, 2.45).
BOTTOM LINE: The Houston Astros, on a three-game losing streak, take on the Detroit Tigers. Detroit has gone 41-24 in home games and 75-53 overall. The Tigers have gone 43-13 in games when they did not allow a home run.
