Gamescom 2025 officially kicked off on Tuesday, August 19 at 2PM ET with Opening Night Live, a showcase hosted by the folks behind The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest, and you can watch it alongside the Engadget crew right here.

Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with new gameplay and settings.
