Fernand is not expected to pose a threat to Florida or the U.S. as it moves north in the central Atlantic before dissipating later this week.

Located about 295 miles east-southeast of Bermuda as of 10 a.m. Sunday, Tropical Storm Fernand was producing sustained winds of 40 mph and headed out to open waters away from the U.S. at about 15 mph.
