Almost all of the high-resolution models maintain the Category 5 intensity of Melissa through landfall in Jamaica on Tuesday morning. The extreme wind capable of widespread, catastrophic damage extends 25-30 mph from the center. It's here where the damage could resemble that of a strong tornado (EF-3).
