The ship ran aground March 1, 2020 near Ramp 4 in South Nags Head along the shores of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. It has been slowly sinking into the sand ever since and with all the shutdowns I cant imagine it will be leaving any time soon. It's become an attration now with daily visitors, and national recognition.
