Happy tears alert! We had amazing news yesterday… On Thursday Pru stayed at Geelong Animal Referral Services undergoing her post liver shunt surgery blood tests and her Internal Medicine specialist Dr Barry emailed us to say.. “Pru’s bile acids test has come back completely normal. When I first met you her bile acids levels were over 200 (normal should be less than 30). Yesterday, her levels were at 1! This tells us that the shunt is completely closed and her liver is working normally.” Pru xxx
