So many people ask how I get so close to wild (and enormous) Saltwater Crocodiles without dying.. the answer is years of building trust, and a very small camera in a very long pole. Croc tours have been conducted in this area for decades.. and yes, they feed them. The crocs know the boats, and since they don’t feel threatened by them they’re happy to sit on the bank when we pull up beside them.. some of the time anyway. Often their instinct kicks in and they have back to the safety of the water.
