The “Jesus Boat”, also known as the Ancient Galilee Boat, is a 2,000-year-old fishing vessel discovered on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel in 1986. Though there’s no direct evidence that Jesus or his disciples ever used this specific boat, it is called the “Jesus Boat” because it dates to the time of Jesus and offers valuable insight into the types of boats used during his ministry.
