Free CDL training for GDOT Employees A state-agency perk for our employees is certified Commercial Drivers License (CDL) test training. Lead trainer Roderick Roberson has a high-pass rate for those under his tutelage. He became certified as a Driver Trainer Instructor in Jan. 2010. Since then, Roderick has trained bus and truck drivers nearly every weekend. On Oct. 1, 2019 he started as District 2’s CDL instructor. We are hiring and need those ready to become CDL Class A and/or Class B permitted
